you're right.
that pretty much conveyed everything about AIDS.
it is real...and we need to face the truth...and do something about it.

Aids is something that we can control,if we are educated properly. The decision to be hiv/aids free is up to you.

We cant fight heal Aids but we can prevent it through education and health promotions. unicef has provided us with enough life skills promotions and thus i have learnt how to protect myself . Not having sex wont kill you but aids will.

truly sex could be funny at times, and pleasurable as in when having sex. :) Sex is funny, pleasurable, secretive when having it, but it leads to its opposite which in all possiblities would be made public, which is called dry blood, leanness, loss of weight, loss of stamina *no power to have sex again*, bulged eyes, lack of appetite for food, series of sickness, which can all inturn be called *AIDS IS DEATH-DEATH IS AIDS* i still think the best way to avoid death is to abstaining from sex or having it with only one CERTIFIED partner. Thank unicef for thier role. We appreciate the earth because of unicef. ;)

In Season
And Out Of Season
The Global Warning Beams
The Debate
Rages On And On
Despite Different Opinions
Emotions Keep Burning On And On
Others Get Infected In Millions
The Rhetorical Question Lingers
Infected People Point Accusing Fingers
Any Hope For Victims?
The Bottom Line
Is Increased Awareness
The Best Slogan Is Abstinence

i truly agree with everyone....AIDS IS REAL, but waht can we really do to stop its deadly spread. so many efforts have been made but people(especially youth) still prefer to live in ignorance. several NGOs, govt. parastals through different media have tried to curb the spread but all still proves abortive.

in my opiniion, since we the youth are "statiscally" the carrier or most infected, i feel we should be the ones whoe should be more invovled in the stop of the spread of HIV/AIDS.

i suggest that the schools, religious houses etc should start imbibing into their curriclum the topic itself. i believe it will go a long way in educating people and making them consciuos at all times to be care and no that HIV/AIDS has no cure and it's killing and spreading like wild fire.

One Of The Most Dangerous Times
One Of The Most Happiest Times
These Two Diverse Times Occur Simultaenously
All In The Life Of A Woman
The Pain Is Like Being Cut In Two
With A Hot Scalding Matchete
But With The Placing Of The Baby In The Arms Of The Mother
All The Pains Are Forgotten
Childbirth Can Bring Death And Also Life
And All Must Be Experienced By A Woman
For The Unborn To Be Born And Survive
To Many It Is The Most Greatest Mystery Of Life
To The Child It Is The Assurance Of Living Over Death.

Oh Great Africa, Oh Mother
Hear The Cries Of Your Mother
The Pride Of Her Children
Oh Africa My Africa
My Family Of Big Bold And Black Children

Who Has Done These To My Chldren
Is This The Fruit Of Cvilisaton
If It Is My Children, throw It Back To The Whites
What Good Is A Toy When It Is Broken ?
Oh! Africa Who Assails Thee!!!

Liberia Has Just Stopped Crying From The Pang Of War
Now Sierra Leone Is Bleeding From An Internal Wound
There Are Tales Of Woes Here And There
But There Is One Grief That Is The Loudest
Amongst My Children.........aids

The Wailing Of My Children Spans
The Whole Lenght And Breath Of The Land
From Senegal To Somalia
From Cape Town To Alexandria
It Is Filled With The Wails Of My Children
Dying Of Aids
Oh! Aids Why Have You Turned
The Strongest Of Men To Weaklings

You Know No Boundary, neither Color Nor Race
You Take Parents Away From Their Children
The Children From Thier Parent
The Men From Their Women
The Women From Their Men
Oh Aids!! How Cruel Thou Are

With Your Double Edged Sword
You Slew Both The Guilty And The Innocent
You Do Not Answer To The White Mans Medicine
Only Time Can Stop Your Onslaught
Only God Can Say How Long
Oh!! Hear The Cries Of My Children

PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV/AIDS
ARE NORMAL PEOPLE
THEY ARE NOT LOSERS
RATHER THEY ARE WINNERS
FREQUENTLY THEY ARE EXPLOITED
OFTEN THEY ARE HUMILIATED
EMBARASSED AND NEGLECTED
OCCASSIONALLY THEY ARE SACKED
UNANNOUNCED, UNCEREMONIOUSLY
WITHOUT THE DUE WAGES
YET THEY REMAIN STRONG

PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV/AIDS
FACE STIGMA AND ABUSE
BY LOOSING THEIR INTEGRITY
THEY NEED ACCESS
TO THESE ESSENTIALS
ACCESS TO INFORMATION
ACCESS TO EDUCATION
ACCESS TO PARTICIPATION
ACCESS TO LOVE
ACESS TO EXPRESSION
ACCESS TO SUPORT
ACCESS TO EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
ACCESS TO ANTIRETROVIRAL DRUG
ACCESS TO THEIR RIGHTS
THEIR RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS

Fight For Freedom
Fight For Liberty
Fight For Education
Fight For Life
But The Most Thing We Should Fight For Is Love Above All Things

Why?
Why now?
Have we found the weapon of Mass Destruction?!
22 million dead
40 million infected
We don't think before we act
It's shown on the face of the Earth
Due to our wronging
Let the dove free
Let the wings of the angels go
let it all go
For we can Stop this epedemic
Before it stops the world

Dear all
yes, life skills are the best we have today, to arm ourselves to be able to save selves from any high risk behaviours and reject myths and misconceptions and keep the infections away. :)

NOT HAVING SEX DOESN'T MEANS THAT YOU ARE SAFE FROM AIDS BECAUSE HIV CAN BE TRANSMITTED THROUGH OTHER WAYS SUCH AS SHARING NEEDLES...BUT BEFORE HAVING SEX, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE TAKEN PREVENTIONS SUCH AS THE USAGE OF CONDOM COULD HELP TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF HIV/AIDS...

O dear
Nothing to fear
Not alone you are
We all together
On our way
To fight against AIDS.

We’ll pay
Keep off dismay
Much attention to you
Let you live is my view
The east today as new
To fight against AIDS.

I have no fear
With you O dear
Nightmare is over
Our grief and delights
The light to way
To fight against AIDS.

The world’s deadliest disease is growing rapidly
Killing millions of people so painfully
Hard and serious efforts are needed to eliminate the disease
The disease which is known as HIV
Despite so much funding and research
It still posses danger to humanity
The disease has no boundaries
And it is spreading thus uncontrollably
The root-cause is the behavior of people
They must refrain from extra-marital activity
They should remain within the ethic boundaries
It is time to respect sexual relationship with honesty
Drugs, used needles adding to the epidemic
This is posing a big threat to our society
We must take the challenge very seriously
We have to create awareness as our number one priority
Time has come up to act with responsibility
The whole world has to act as a community
With special thanks to Bill Gates and Bill Clinton
Who are spreading the message of hope with dignity
There is a hope with their big support
There will be a cure, the disease will going to end finally

Every Time The Clock Ticks I Hear Many Of The People Crying, They Tears Have Ben Coming Out Of Their Eyes Like Running Water From A Tap Without A Plamber To Attend To It But Theirs Tears Will Dry One Day. When The Sun Rise From The East, I Will Work Had To Search For The Hiv/aids Cure Before Sunset. Oh Aids I Will Cure You One Day
