Today, she works for Save the Children teaching young people about their rights. She travelled to New York in May 2006 to participate in the United Nations Secretary-General's Study on Violence against Children.
"Parents always give this argument when they are arguing with children – they ask them to put themselves in their place," says Ioana. "But it happens very often that the parents don't try to put themselves in the place of the child."
