The updated site is live as of today, Tuesday 5 June 2007. The new site better reflects the mandate of the organization as a knowledge-based leader for children. It will serve as a valuable reference tool for all those who work for and with the children of the world. The site menu has been enlarged to include 10 sections in addition to the home page. These options present a panorama of the UNICEF Innocenti Research Centre’s key activities and products. Each section now has its own landing page, in which specific issues are highlighted and examined. In addition to the pre-existing sections:
The following sections have been newly created and will permit a more in-depth examination of UNICEF IRC’s research activities and publications. They will also offer a window into the knowledge brokering, networking and facilitating expertise that the Centre has developed in more than 15 years of work.
To make the site more user-friendly in easily retrieving information and knowledge sources, we have set up a Search tool page that offers several search options to better refine and address the information needs of our users.
