UNICEF VIP Pre-Event for ZEROawards
HCMC – November 27th, 2013 – An exclusive preview of live auction items was shown at the UNICEF ZEROawards “VIP Pre-event” on Wednesday, hosted by Ly Club and Moet. ZEROawards, which will be at InterContinental Asiana HCMC on December 5th, will be the first annual fundraiser of its kind in Vietnam, designed to honor humanitarian work for children and to raise funds for UNICEF Vietnam. Top sponsors of the event were also in attendance including Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Mai Thanh of REE Corporation and Chairman Le Phuoc Vu of Toa Hoa Sen Group.
Modeled after the black tie gala events held each year in New York, Los Angeles, and London, ZEROawards strives to bring individuals with similar levels of investment and commitment for children. The event is where the auction will take place, as well as live sketching by acclaimed artist, Pham Luc, and never seen before performances, all with the purpose of joining together Vietnam’s most successful individuals and companies in an annual fundraising event.
Items previewed for the auction included fine art by Ha Huynh My and Bui Huu Hung, the most exclusive bottle of single malt whisky created to date by Glenmorangie; a one-of-a-kind, signed jersey from Manchester United; NYC runway show and Justin Timberlake concert tickets package, among other items. 100% of the proceeds from ZEROawards in 2013 will benefit children of UNICEF’s Kon Tum project. Through the VIP Pre-event, UNICEF hopes to further attract supporters for ZEROawards 2013, and to raise awareness of UNICEF’s campaign: “Believe in ZERO”.
