I am committed to helping UNICEF empower children and young people in Viet Nam to help them build a brighter future for themselves, their families, and their communities. It is an immense honour to be able to team up with UNICEF for one more year in its battle to ensure the future they want to Viet Nam’s next generations", said Ms. Ha Anh as Ms. Sylwander officially handed over the letter extending her appointment as UNICEF Viet Nam’s Goodwill Ambassador.

The collaboration with UNICEF Viet Nam will be intended to maximise advocacy reach to children and young people, also ensure their voices are heard on a number of issues that affect their lives.

In addition, it is expected Ms. Vu Nguyen Ha Anh will assist UNICEF’s engagement with the private sector in ensuring companies in Viet Nam understand and take action on their responsibilities to respect and support children’s rights.

“Thank you again heartily for helping build momentum to improve the lives of children around Viet Nam. We are proud to have you as one of the strong voices for vulnerable children”, Ms. Sylwander concluded.
