1. Post Title: Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV and AIDS (PMTCT) Specialist
Location: Hanoi

Summary of the Post:

Under the general supervision of the HIV/AIDS Manager, responsible for the formulation, planning, design, implementation and evaluation of Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV-AIDS activities, within the Primary Health and Nutrition Care Project under the Health & Nutrition Programme.

Qualifications:

Advanced University Degree in Medicine with specialization in Obstetrics/Gyneocology with emphasis on Public Health, Maternal and Child Health and/or HIV/AIDS.
Minimum of five (5) years progressively responsible experience in programme design, financial administration, monitoring and evaluation of HIV/AIDS, Reproductive Health, Women’s health, and/or Breastfeeding/Infant Feeding Programmes. Experience in health sector coordination, clinical management of HIV/AIDS, and in working with national and sub-national counterparts in HIV/AIDS related sectors.
Proven ability to plan and manage complex health programmes, involving partners from multiple sectors.
Good analytical skills and knowledge in financial management.
Strong advocacy skills; ability to transfer knowledge and ideas
Training ability and experience as a facilitator of learning for health professionals.
Previous work experience with UN or other international/donor agencies as advantage
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Vietnamese
Computer skills, including internet navigation and various office applications
Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and establish harmonious and effective working relationships, both within and outside the organization
