Health OfficerThe United Nations Children’s fund (UNICEF), within its mandate and through the Country Programme of Cooperation with the Government of Uzbekistan, provides support to the State in improving the lives and well being of women and children throughout the country. UNICEF in the Republic of Uzbekistan is announcing a vacancy. The Health Officer will work in the Programme Unit of the Office. Under the close supervision of Chief of Health, the incumbent will contribute to planning, administration, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the maternal and child health programme’s project activities. This will require teamwork and capacity building activities. Specifically, the incumbent will be responsible for the introduction and scaling up of basic health care services in newborn and child survival at the hospital and primary health care levels. Qualifications/Requirements Education: University degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, or other related fields.
Languages: Fluent English, Russian and Uzbek.
