You define the future of your child
21 March 2011, Kyiv, - the new men`s collection created by the famous designer Mikhail Lipakov for the Vuldi brand and dedicated to the responsible fatherhood was demonstrated within the Ukrainian Fashion Week. The fashion show took place at the exhibition hall of the National Cultural Complex “Art Arsenal / Mistetskyi Arsenal” and gathered many Ukrainian celebrities, politicians, trendsetters and media. The theme of the collection was inspired by UNICEF and aimed to draw the attention of the wide audience to the issue of the responsible parenting and encourage the Ukrainian men to spend more time with their children.
According to the research, an average Ukrainian father spends 4 minutes a day with his child. Unfortunately only 1/3 of Ukrainian fathers help their children in school’s homework tasks and hardly 10% of fathers look after their children when they are ill.
“Father’s active participation in care for the mother during the pregnancy, delivery and child upbringing is vital for the child’s emotional and social development, - underlined UNICEF Representative in Ukraine Yukie Mokuo at the press briefing after the fashion show, - we want to call all fathers and those who plan to become one, to spend more time with your children, to play with them and be a part of their life”.
Vuldi collection by Lipakov showed a modern, mature man who cares about his future and appreciates family values. The man, who sets the highest goals for himself and achieves them, however, he never forgets the meaning of his life – the children.
“The collection was inspired by UNICEF and dedicated to a man who is fully engage in his child’s life. He is successful, professional and lives an active life. At the same time he finds time for taking care of his family and defines the future of his child, - said designer Mikhail Lipakov at the press conference after the show.
