UNICEF Turkmenistan announces a contest of creative talents
UNICEF Office in Turkmenistan calls for applications from talented creative individuals, in particular children’s writers, poets, script writers, artists, computer graphical artists, animators (both computer generated imagery and traditional animation) for participation in the contest of literary works for children and about children of pre-school and young school age. The works should be in Turkmen or Russian languages and highlight different aspects of children’s lives and promote healthy life style, education, children’s participation and early childhood development. Possible themes are following but not limited to: immunization and vaccination, breastfeeding and nutrition, school readiness, sports, active life style and recreation and family and a child. Potential contesters should send samples of their literary works. In addition to the sample of works submitted to the contest, contesters should also attach application papers indicating: author’s full name and date of birth, short bio data, short description of the work and its genre, list of previous works (if available), full address, contact telephone and email.
