We encourage individuals to become pledge donors and to make regular monthly contributions in support of our programmes, or to make one-time or occasional donations whenever they are able to. Currently, we raise funds through the following ways:

1. On-line donations
You can make online donations to UNICEF Thailand. The process is secure and simple, and all the information you provide will be kept strictly confidential.
If you want to make the transaction off-line, please download a donation form (English version) or (Thai version), fill it out, and mail or fax it to us as per the instructions on the form.

You can also e-mail the form to us at psfrbangkok@unicef.org.  All of the information on the form is treated in the strictest confidence.

2. Direct mail appeals
UNICEF mails out occasional fundraising appeals to our existing donors as well as to individuals in an effort to recruit new donors.  Direct mail fundraising appeals to enlist new donors are also carried out with our corporate partners. These mailings are usually co-branded by UNICEF and our respective partners and are sent out to their members to invite them to become supporters of UNICEF.

3. Face-to-Face
The Face-to-Face programme is being carried out for UNICEF in high pedestrian traffic areas, such as at shopping malls, office buildings and during exhibitions and events in and around Bangkok.  As the name implies, it is a person-to-person recruitment method that involves asking individuals to make monthly donations to UNICEF via a secure credit card system.

The Face-to-Face approach is a fundraising method that is used by many established charitable/development organizations throughout the world.  Although relatively new in Thailand, it is proving to be very successful thanks to the goodwill of Thai people.  It is providing us with a sustained and steady stream of funding that allows us to support even more programmes for children.

4. Tele-fundraising
Tele-fundraising is a resource mobilization method being used by UNICEF offices around the world.  It is a convenient way for donors to contribute to the work of UNICEF, and it also provides UNICEF with an opportunity to have direct conversations with our donors. When you receive a phone call from a UNICEF fundraiser, you can make a donation by telling the fundraiser the amount you want to donate and by providing your credit card number and expiry date.

All telephone conversations between our fundraisers and donors are recorded so that we can insure we are providing our donors with the best quality service, and all of these conversations are kept strictly confidential. Every fundraiser making calls on behalf of UNICEF has an ID number, and you can contact the UNICEF Office in Thailand to verify a fundraiser’s information, including their full name and ID number.
