In order to achieve peace and prosperity in East Timor, everyone who lives here must live in peace and accept one another, so that the refugees who are still in West Timor don't feel scared to come back to East Timor. There are many refugees who want to return to their homes but they are still uncertain about the situation and conditions in East Timor. Some have come back and the people have welcomed them even though some were militia. They returned safely to East Timor and they were not intimidated. The East Timorese people know that all their deeds will be dealt with in court, so they won't take the law into their own hands. The refugees that have already come back were accepted peacefully and compassionately. If we are together and united then East Timor will achieve total peace and prosperity. Maria Marcelina Gaio
