What UNICEF is doing
UNICEF is a leading advocate for child rights in Tanzania. Our equity-based approach emphasizes the realization of the rights of all children, including those with disabilities, to access water and sanitation services necessary to their survival, growth and development, at school and at home. Given the enormous challenges in the country, UNICEF's focus on WASH centers on collaboration with partners and the Government to develop national sustainable solutions for delivering WASH at scale in Tanzania’s schools.
