Key partners for the protection of children and women programme include the Ministry of Child Development and Women’s Empowerment (MCD/WE), Ministry of Social Welfare and Women’s Empowerment (MOSW); National Child Protection Authority (NCPA); Departments of Probation and Child Care Services at the Ministry of Justice (MOJ); Prisons Department; the Ministry of Labour (MOL); Children and Women Bureau of the Sri Lanka Police; Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission (HRC); National Steering Committee for Mine Action; as well as a range of UN Agencies and INGOs, NGOs and community based organisations.
