Sport for development
National partnerships
National Committees for UNICEF and Country Offices have formed alliances with national teams and sports associations committing themselves to use the power of sports to protect children's rights all over the world.
Besides those listed below, UNICEF has many other national partnerships. For example, the Indian National Cricket team support to the regional 'Fair Play for Girls Education' campaign. Another shining example was given by the defending 2002 FIFA World Cup champions, the Brazilian National Football Team, who traveled to Haiti for a match with the Haitian National Football Team in order to play for peace and raise awareness about the plight of the Haitian children.
