Introduction | Rallying call | Say Yes for Children

What you can do

Say Yes for Children

It couldn't be easier: Sign the 'Say Yes' pledge and add your voice to the thousands of others calling upon world leaders to create a world fit for children.

Log on to the website for the Global Movement for Children at www.gmfc.org to fill out the short pledge form. By signing the pledge, you'll be calling for action to be taken on a ten-point agenda for children. You can also indicate the three most important issues for young people in your community.

During the three-day United Nations Special Session on Children, results of pledges collected from individuals and organizations around the world will be presented to world leaders as a show of the global support for children's rights, including those to good health care, quality basic education and protection from abuse and exploitation.

You also can e-mail your form to pledge@netaid.org or mail it to the nearest offices of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee (BRAC), Netaid.org Foundation, PLAN International, Save the Children or World Vision.

However you choose to send your pledge, by giving just two minutes of your time you can help ensure that every child has the freedom to live in health, peace and dignity.

So, 'Say Yes' to a world where children are respected, protected from preventable diseases, free from discrimination and safeguarded from the devastation of poverty and war - a world where every child can develop his or her full talents and abilities through a solid education.

Help create this world fit for children. Be heard. Take Action. Say Yes for Children.
