Information for NGOs
Groups dealing with NGO
The NGO Committee on UNICEF is a worldwide network
of 125 international NGOs working on behalf of children in
more than 110 countries. The Committee's goals include encouraging
consultation and co-operation among NGOs at all levels and
with UNICEF to promote the rights and well-being of children
everywhere and providing a forum for the substantive discussion
about UNICEF policies and programmes and child related issues.
The NGO Steering Group has been mandated by the NGO
Committee to facilitate and oversee the participation of NGOs
in the UN Special Session on Children.

The Non-Governmental Liaison Service (NGLS) works with
and provides information related to all categories of NGOs
in status with the UN, as well as all those attending UN conferences.

The Child Rights Information Network (CRIN)
The key objectives of the Child Rights Information Network
are to meet the information needs of organisations and individuals
working for child rights, support and promote the implementation
of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and develop networking
tools that enable effective information exchange among members
of CRIN.
