Since it was launched in New York on 25 October 2005, the UNITE FOR CHILDREN UNITE AGAINST AIDS campaign has been kicked off in countries all over the world, with new events taking place every week.

August 2006: Episode 8

  • New scientific breakthrough saving lives in South Africa.
  • World's number one tennis player and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Roger Federer joins the UNITE FOR CHILDREN UNITE AGAINST AIDS campaign.

  • May 2006: Episode 6
  • UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Angelique Kidjo takes a tour of a children's hospital in Zimbabwe and an HIV clinic in Kenya to witness firsthand the impact of AIDS on children.
  • Children living with HIV in Russia get a special visit from UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Jessica Lange.
  • UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Danny Glover takes a look at two HIV/AIDS youth outreach programmes that are making a big difference in Jamaica.
  • AIDS Walk New York celebrates its 21st year.

  • April 2006: Episode 5
