UNICEF en acción en el Darfur

Fatima, una refugiada sudanesa de 9 años, es una de las 110.000 refugiados del Sudán que se benefician del apoyo del UNICEF en una región remota del este de Chad después de huir de los ataques a los poblados del Sudán.

Acción

Las actividades del UNICEF en Chad para prestar asistencia a los refugiados sudaneses y a las comunidades locales de Chad incluyen: distribución de mantas; campañas de vacunación contra sarampión y administración de vitamina A; reparto de escuelas en una caja; distribución de libros escolares en árabe de la oficina del UNICEF en el Sudán para apoyar las actividades de educación; provisión de materiales básicos escolares; distribución de equipos familiares de agua; distribución de equipos obstétricos; abastecimiento de leche terapéutica; educación sobre la higiene; supervisión de los niños y niñas separados; actividades de saneamiento; y la provisión de materiales recreativos para jugar.
