Human Resources Specialist, P-4, New Delhi, India
If you are a passionate and committed professional and want to make a lasting difference for children, the world's leading children's rights organization would like to hear from you. UNICEF seeks a Human Resources Specialist to be based in its New Delhi, India office.
In support of the India Country Office objectives, you will provide a professional, timely and effective HR management service to the India Country Office managers and staff with particular focus on the areas of Talent Search - sourcing, recruitment and selection; and Talent Management - staff retention and motivation, career development, performance management and development.
Your profile:
Advanced university degree in human resource management or a related field.
At least eight years of practical experience in a progressive human resources environment. Working in all areas of HR management as a generalist, with supervisory responsibilities.
UNICEF foundational competencies are required - commitment, drive for results, embracing diversity, integrity, self-awareness and self-regulation, and teamwork.
Also the functional competencies of - judgement, building trust, tact, communication, influence, coaching, managing resources and team leadership.
Proficiency in English, with excellent abilities in oral and written communications. Proficiency in another UN language.
