'Say Yes for Children'

The truth is that the world has not been kind to children. The truth is also that the status quo doesn't have to remain the status quo.

Children pose with Elmo, a character from the children's television programme Sesame Street, during the filming of a video spot promoting the 'Say Yes for Children' campaign in New York City.

The 'Say Yes for Children' campaign, launched by UNICEF as one of its contributions to the Global Movement for Children, has mobilized communities around the world, encouraging public discussions about the rights of the child and gathering pledges from millions of people who believe that every child has the right to live in health, peace and dignity. And everywhere it moves, involving children eager to change the world.

'Say Yes for Children', in all its manifestations, is an inspiring victory for hope.
