Terms of Reference for the Provision of Internet Connectivity Services

Background

Main Project:- The United Nations (UN) House in Pretoria currently comprises of about seven agencies, all with their own means of internet connectivity on different size bandwidths. The main purpose of this project is to consolidate efforts with regards to internet connectivity for the agencies for better economies of scale and return on investment.

Sub-Project:- One of the other UN Agencies, the International Labour Organisation (ILO), is located outside of the UN House. They are in Lynwood, Pretoria, and currently have around 100 end users; who will need internet services at their Lynwood address.

Request for Tender

The purpose of the assignment is for the:

  1. Provision of Internet Connectivity Services for the United Nations (UN) House, Pretoria Central
  2. Provision of Internet Connectivity Services for the International Labour Organisation (ILO) in Lynwood, Pretoria.

Bidders must provide a creative proposal, a work plan and a detailed fee structure for developing the intended service(s). Please note that the UN will not pay any additional fees outside those outlined in the contractual agreement with the selected contractor.

Full proposals must be submitted in ENGLISH and must be received by no later than 18 September 2013 at 12.00. Proposals may be hand delivered or couriered to UNICEF South Africa, 6th Floor, Metropark Building, 351 Francis Baard Street, Pretoria 0001 or submitted electronically to saf-ppc@unicef.org
