Mango helps youth to spread their wings
The next time you book your Mango flight online, look out for the option that enables you to support UNICEF at the same time. For time-pressured consumers, Mango makes giving easy – and UNICEF values the ongoing support from this airline and its caring guests.
Not only does guests’ funding boost Sport for Development (S4D) initiatives in South Africa, but the airline takes its support one step further – by featuring stories from UNICEF in the pages of its stunning in-flight magazine, Mango Juice. This is a great way for Mango’s passengers to see how their individual donations collectively make a difference.
Additionally, the airline has also sponsored flights as prizes in fundraising drives.
As an airline of ‘firsts’, Mango pioneered the first store card payment system, by accepting flight payments through account cards such as Edgars. It was also first to trade air travel through retail outlets, launching this option in late 2007 at the Money Market counters of Checkers, Shoprite and Checkers Hyper.
