UNICEF needs US$13.5m to address immediate needs of children in the areas of nutrition, health, education and protection. Donor funding has since 2006 enabled rapid response to flooding and diarrhoea outbreaks. Urgent funding is needed to help 365,000 people displaced by conflict in Mogadishu.
