ABSTRACT

This document is a gender budgeting guideline for girls education which was developed to mobilize leadership committed to girls education at all levels.  Girls' equal access to education is a basic human right and a strategic need which yields access to such opportunities as good health, employment and national awareness to eliminate harmful traditional practices, HIV/AIDS and other communicable diseases affecting the national economy. With regards to this, the Ethiopian Government has taken successive educational qualtiy, relevance, efficiency and equity.
