UNICEF and B92 Campaign for Children in Foster Families
The UNICEF Office in Serbia and RTV B92, in partnership with the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, have launched the 2008 special sales promotion of the New Year and Christmas gifts for 1,362 children without parental care up to 8 years of age who are living in foster families. Every child has the right to live in family environment. When a child has to be separated from his or her biological family, placement into foster care is the optimal solution. Companies and individuals are invited to buy UNICEF/B92 seasonal gifts and thus make these children happy and help improve the quality of child care services in foster families.
