Christmas and New Year are times of joy and happiness, especially for children.

For more than 60 years, UNICEF’s cards and gifts have brought a smile and deliver hope to children and families all over the world.

But, there are many children who do not have anyone to give them a gift, children who  fear whether Santa Claus will visit them. In Serbia, those are, among others, children without parental care, and children with disabilities who still live in institutions.

As a result of a media partnership between UNICEF Serbia and RTV B92, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, a special sales promotion of New Year and Christmas products and gifts for children without parental care has been launched. Companies and individuals were invited to buy seasonal gifts and make these children happy.

Al Grosso company, with whom UNICEF Serbia has corporate partnership since 2005, was the first one to give its contribution. They added sweets and candies to each gift bag for children without parental care.

A special promoter for this action is UNICEF National Ambassador for Serbia, Ms. Ana Ivanovic.
