Your support for "School without Violence"
The "School without Violence" programme in Serbia is financed solely through locally raised funds - contributions by individual donors, families and companies. Since July last year, when the fundraising campaign started, UNICEF gathered 19 million dinars (280,000 dollars). The biggest part of those funds was raised at the farewell game by basketball player Aleksandar Sasa Djordjevic, UNICEF National Ambassador for Serbia. The rest was collected from a large number of small and big donations by citizens and companies. But much more funds are needed to have more schools involved and the programme incorporated into the education system.
