Outcomes for children with disability and their parents from accessing community-based services

A research on the “Outcomes for children with disability and their parents from accessing community-based services”  was carried out within the project “Developing Community Based  Services for Children with Disabilities and their Families” implemented by UNICEF in partnership with the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Policy, and financed by the EU. The Project has supported the establishment of Day Care, Home Assistance and Respite Care services in 41 municipalities in Serbia. 

The research has gathered detailed knowledge on how children with disabilities and their families use the community based services developed and supported by the project. It also provides better understanding of the circumstances in which they live, which will help improve the practices of social protection according with the social inclusion policy could be improved. 

The publication contains an Abstract in English.
