Mr. Michel Saint-Lot is a UNICEF Representative in the Republic of Serbia as of 1 November 2013 when he assumed his duties and taken over all responsibilities of the Country Office Activities.

Mr. Saint-Lot, a national of Haiti, has 30 years of professional experience in the field of Development, among those 19 years at senior positions level in the Public Sector in his home country Haiti, and in UNICEF. He has also worked independently in the private sector. He has worked in various professional and cultural settings having to his advantage the working knowledge of 3 UN languages, namely, French, Spanish and English.

Prior to his posting in Serbia, he was the UNICEF Deputy Representative in Bangladesh from 2010, he was the Chief of Field Office in Hyderabad India from 2004 to 2010, Chief of Field Office in Enugu Nigeria from 2001 to 2004, Senior Adviser for Water and Sanitation in New York Headquarter from 1995 to 2001 and Chief Water and Sanitation in Mali from 1992 to 1994.

Mr. Saint-Lot is a post graduate Fellow of the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, Princeton University (USA), with on focus on Economic Development. He holds a diploma in Architecture and Civil Engineering from the Faculty of Sciences of Haiti and post graduate certification in Project Formulation and Elaboration (Haiti), Micro-planning of Educational Infrastructures (Mexico and Colombia), and in Leveraging Resources for Children from the Graduate School of Governance Maastrich University (Netherlands). He also holds a Certificate of the Cambridge Executive Education on Senior Leadership Development, Judge Business School, University of Cambridge (UK).

Mr Saint-Lot is accompanied in Serbia by his wife and 2 youngest daughters.
