In cooperation with UNICEF, Serbia’s renowned tennis player and UNICEF National Ambassador Ana Ivanović launched her very own line of Adidas T-shirts.
The Adidas collection includes six different T-shirts divided into three categories: women’s, girls’ and unisex. It is a limited edition and the designs were chosen by Ana’s fans through online voting on her website.
All the proceeds will go to the “School without Violence” programme.
“This is a wonderful idea and a very valuable campaign. We will not only raise funds for the UNICEF `School without Violence` programme and assist its implementation in Serbia, but will also raise awareness of the importance of UNICEF’s work in improving the protection of child rights,” stated Ana Ivanović.
With her personal donations Ana Ivanović has already enabled 16 schools in Serbia to join the “School without Violence” programme which is funded exclusively with locally raised funds – from private and corporate donations.
Ana’s favourite design is the “Never stop smiling” purple T-shirt, but she is also very fond of the Adidas unisex one. “The t-shirts are beautifully designed and I enjoy wearing them,” added Ana.
The “School without Violence” programme emerged out of the concern about the growing violence among and against children and youth in Serbia over the past years. Its main objective is to help develop a safe and enabling environment for learning and development. It is primarily designed for students, teachers and school staff, but also for parents and the community at large. The programme is implemented by UNICEF in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the Council for Child Rights of the Government of Serbia, the Institute for the Improvement of Education, the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
