Belgrade, 30 October 2008 – A "Fair Play" exhibition was opened today in the "O3ONE" art gallery in Belgrade. The exhibition features Fair Play tournaments organised in primary schools in Serbia within the UNICEF "School without Violence" programme. The goal of the tournaments was to promote sports as an important component of the Programme that helps develop the culture of non-violence, team work and tolerance among school children.
During the school, municipal and regional matches, UNICEF volonteers interviewd the participants about their views on fair play and the original answers have been collected in a book "Fer Igra - Igra u kojoj igra Fer" that was present today.
The exhibition was opened by the State secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Ivana Kovaceic and UNICEF representatives Jadranka Milanovic and Jelena Zajeganovic.
