Alliance with Amway
Amway, one of the world’s largest direct-selling companies, manufactures and sells a wide range of quality products in the areas of Nutrition and Wellness, Personal Care and Homecare. The successful partnership Amway–UNICEF is the part of Amway’s global campaign for children “One by One”. Amway affiliates, thousands of Amway Independent Entrepreneurs and company employees have been supporting UNICEF since 2001. In the past three years alone, Amway raised and donated to UNICEF € 2.7 million. About the campaign “Let’s support Mitya” From October 2007 till January 2007, in frame of our partnership programme, Amway prepared and conducted a fundraising campaign “Let’s support Mitya”. All its Trading Centres in Russia took part in UNICEF’s project “Inclusion for Disabled Children”. Amway's Independent Business Owners and their partners sold 13 000 pins “Mitya” and over 10 000 packs of UNICEF Christmas cards. The Amway staff also took part in supporting this project. During the campaign Amway collected over US$ 70 000. All money received from selling pins and cards and staff donations is forwarded to the UNICEF project. The project “Inclusion for Disabled Children” is a step towards ending the isolation of disabled children in society by demonstrating that they may live easily with their families and participate in society with their peers.
