November 13, 2007: UNICEF statement regarding the incident in the Republic of IngushetiaRegarding the latest occurrence involving the death of a child in his own house in Ingushetia UNICEF considers this a gross violation of child rights. UNICEF deeply regrets that children should be victimized by matters which they have no control over and urges that all parties involved take utmost care to uphold all rights of all children, particularly the right to survive.
