October 20, 2006: UNICEF partners received a prestigious art award
20 October, 2006 - The “Maitre of Polygraphy 2006” Open Contest Award Ceremony took place this week at the Moscow House for Businessmen. This years contest focused on polygraphic products related to children and childhood.
The Contest’s Certificate for perfect polygraphic presentation of a socially significant project was awarded to ZAO “NovoPolygraphCentre” in Novosibirsk for the “Lake and Children” book published within a UNICEF-supported project.
The “Lake and children” book summarizes the results of work undertaken in the field of ecological education aimed at prevention of social diseases among children and adolescents. The project is the result of long-term fruitful collaboration between UNICEF and its Gorno-Altaisk counterparts, the NGO Guardians of the Lake Club, Gorno-Altaysk State University Ecological Centre, and other organizations working in the field of “ecological education.”

The high quality of the printing and graphic design of the book, as well as the warm-hearted generosity invested by those in the creation of the book, was greatly appreciated both by Russian and foreign specialists.
The Maitre of Polygraphy Award is considered as the most significant domestic award in the field of polygraphic art. The participation and accomplishment of the NovoPolygraphCentre team in this contest will enable them to enhance the prestige of all their products and help establish themselves professionally.
