13-18 November - “Facing Children” film festival
The third edition of the film festival “Facing Children” will be organized by SIGNIS Romania in partnership with UNICEF. The festival promotes children’s rights through film and will be organized in three main sections: UMA Feature Films – One Moment of Art, presenting international award winning films on social themes. UMA – Documentaries – A Witness to Truth, this competition of documentary films will present films aired on television or independent movies from Romania and other European countries. UMA – One Minute of Adolescence, will present films on child rights produced by children within workshops organized by SIGNIS in collaboration with UNICEF.
A tour for launching and promoting the DVD “Best of Margareta Paslaru” and the choir of Alegretto children will be organized. The funds raised through the sales of the DVDs will be donated to UNICEF Romania.
