AFGHANISTAN  September 21 - November 21  Media Coverage – the launch of a national radio magazine for and by children on topics related to child well-being, in collaboration with Killid Group, Save the Children Alliance and WHO. Also, the broadcast of Public Service Announcements on key messages related to the CRC and Peace, and the integration of messages related to the CRC into the ongoing BBC-programme ‘New Home, New Life’ 
AFGHANISTAN November 15 - 19 Child Rights Training for Journalists – Media training for 20 local journalists on the CRC and ethical reporting on children, to conclude on 19 Nov with a Declaration of the ‘Afghan Association of Journalists’ on ethical reporting on children
AFGHANISTAN November 10 - 21 Arts exposition – a painting produced in the workshop in Babur Garden, in collaboration with Aschiana. Interviews of children who won the design competition will be broadcast on radio.
AFGHANISTAN November 19 Kite Competition – a competition of finalists from the provincial kite competition, in collaboration with Aschiana.
AFGHANISTAN November 20 Gala Concert – the concert in Kabul featuring young talent will also be supplemented by speeches on the CRC, collaboration with Moby Media, the EC and humanitarian partners. The event will be broadcast at prime time via Tolo TV.

BANGLADESH  November 22  Launch of photo Exhibition -  'Do you see my world?' with Secretary of the Ministry of Information, the EU Ambassador and the principal of Pathshala, South Asian Institute of Photography. A photographic journey into the lives of adolescents in Bangladesh; photos taken by 30 adolescents in linving in Jamalpur, Chapainawalganj and Barguna districts.

NEPAL  November 18  CRC@20 Commemoration - 450 people will be invited to the UN compound in Kathmandu to celebrate the CRC 20th birthday and four decades of UNICEF in Nepal, including the President of Nepal, Government ministers, ambassadors, UN heads, partners , NGOs, media, and children  
NEPAL  November 18  Launch of Country Website - the new country office website will be launched in conjunction with the media coverage being planned for the CRC and four decades celebrations. 
NEPAL  November 18  Media Coverage - a 40-minute documentary on the history of UNICEF has been made by the office and will be broadcast in Nepali nationally by the main TV station.  A 20-meter scroll celebrating four decades of UNICEF and 20 years of CRC will be unveiled. 
NEPAL  November 21  Children’s Rights Film Festival - 500 school children and government officials and NGO partners will attend an all-day screening of a series of six films on children's rights touching on topics such as child labour, HIV and living with disabilities 
NEPAL  November 23 - 27  Local CRC@20 Commemorations - the three field office of UNICEF Nepal in Biratnagar, Bharatpur, and Nepalgunj will hold a series of celebrations in their communities involving local dignitaries, partners, guests, and children to commemorate the CRC and four decades of UNICEF in Nepal.   
PAKISTAN  November 19  Translation Launch – the launch of the translation into Urdu of Children and Islam 
PAKISTAN  TBC  International Children's Rights film festival - led by academic institutions with UNICEF support. 
SRI LANKA  November 14  Launch of the World Day of Prayer and Action for Children CRC@20 - the main highlight will be a special ‘healing event’ for Children affected by the war in Sri Lanka. Organized by local NGO Sarvodaya. UNICEF Regional Director for South Asia - Daniel Toole will give the keynote address  
SRI LANKA  TBC  CRC@20 Press Supplement – A special press advert on the CRC @ 20 will be designed and published in key newspapers.
