REPORT ON EASTERN AND SOUTHERN AFRICA REGIONAL WORKSHOP ON ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN The report on the Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Workshop on Orphans and Vulnerable Children, - November 5-8 in Lusaka.
The workshop was sponsored by UNICEF Zambia and USAID Zambia and included 80 participants from 14 countries in the region. This was probably the single most important gathering to date concerned with action to mitigate the impacts of AIDS on orphans and other vulnerable children, and its primary purpose was to generate collaborative action in each of the participating countries.
