The poll was conducted in 20 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean that were grouped by their geographical proximity. Brazil and Mexico were each considered as a separate geographical zone in view of their population size.

Andean: Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela Brazil
Caribbean: Barbados, Dominican Republic, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica
Central America: El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Mexico
Southern Cone: Argentina, Chile, Uruguay
