These provide in-depth analysis of legislative reform on specific issues by UNICEF and external experts.  The papers cover a broad range of issues such as child marriage, child domestic labour, the right to food and trafficking.

• Legislative reform on child domestic labour: a gender analysis- this study adopts a gender perspective to look at the need for legislative reform in the area of child domestic labour.
• Legislative reform for the protection of the rights of victims of trafficking - this paper explores prevention of child trafficking and then protection of its victims.
• Child marriage and the law -  this paper analyses the different legal frameworks and human rights dimensions of child marriage.
• Realizing children's rights to adequate nutrition through national legislative reform -  this paper addresses four focused nutrition interventions crucial to adequate nutrition from a child rights perspective: 1) combating micronutrient malnutrition; 2) protecting, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding; 3) enacting or strengthening accompanying social policies to enable women to breastfeed; and 4) promoting healthy diets and physical activity to reverse the alarming trend of child obesity and resulting chronic diseases.
• Legislative reform on selected issues of anti-gender discrimination and anti-domestic violence: the impact on children - this paper examines three key areas of gender discrimination that affect the well-being of women and children: access to economic resources, family relations and domestic violence. Each thematic section includes: detailed, critical examinations of the subject matter and relevant CRC and CEDAW provisions, analyses of innovative developments in legislation and case law, and check lists for law reform that integrate both gendered and child rights perspectives.
• Legislative reform to support the abandonment of Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting - this paper presents key features of a comprehensive legislative framework to support the abandonment of FGM/C.  It also provides specific guidance on the content of the legislation, and its relationship to the process of social change that it is meant to support.
