Local NGOs
The NGO community is a vital and active partner of UNICEF in delivering its commitments for children in the Philippines. UNICEF works with NGOs to ascertain the situation of children on the ground and find ways to best help them. Alliances with human rights networks, leagues, professional groups and the academe enable research, technical assistance, capacity-building, monitoring, rescue, rehabilitation, counseling, advocacy and other activities that protect and promote children’s rights.
