2010 • November • For the 20th Anniversary on the Convention of the Rights of the Child, HM Queen Rania recorded a Public Service Announcement.

2009 • September • HM Queen Rania, in her capacity as honorary Global Chair of the United Nations Girls' Education Initiative (UNGEI), visited The Young Women’s Leadership School in East Harlem in New York City to recognize the importance of girls' education as a key for sustainable development.  (Newsline)

2008 • October  • In Argentina, HM Queen Rania visited a UNICEF-supported school, Paula Albarracín de Sarmiento, to learn more about a new programme that allows teachers, administrators and families to self-evaluate educational practices at the, and make quick changes when improvements are needed.  (Newsline)

2007 •  August •  In Amman, Jordan, during World Breastfeeding Week, HM Queen Rania inaugurated Dr. Jamil Tutounji Hospital in Sahab - a Baby Friendly Hospital.  (News note)

2007 •  June •  In Fez, Morocco, HM Queen Rania, along with Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Meryem, made an official visit to two UNICEF-supported projects, to highlight the country’s efforts in combating child labor and promoting education for all.  (News note)

2007 • May •  In Jordan, HM Queen Rania launched UNICEF’s worldwide call to action to aid Iraqi children.  (Newsline)

2006  • September • In New York.  HM Queen Rania participated in the Symposium on Child Survival organized by UNICEF, the Lancet health journal and the Norwegian Government, which brought together experts and policy-makers at UNICEF.  The symposium was a call for action to raise awareness of child survival issues and galvanize action to reduce child mortality by two-thirds by 2015.   (Newsline)

2006 •  March •  In India, HM Queen Rania paid a two-day visit to South Delhi, where she met with children at the Ritinjali Learning Centre.  Ritinjali is one of over 3,000 alternative schools in India dedicated to teaching out-of-school children while reintegrating them into the formal education system.  (Newsline)

2005 • October •  In Pakistan, HM Queen Rania met with children and families affected by the devastating South Asia earthquake. She brought with her a planeload of relief supplies to help generate international support to save the lives of thousands of children affected by the earthquake.   (Newsline)
