UNICEF’s Country Programme of Cooperation (2004-2008) with the Government of Pakistan reflects country’s Poverty Reduction Strategy and its pursuit of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Guided by the UN’s Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF), the Country Programme is harmonized with the programmes of other UN agencies. UNICEF is a key supporter of the One UN approach in Pakistan.

UNICEF’s development partners which include national governments and governmental aid agencies, National Committees for UNICEF in developed countries and International Aid Organisations contribute funds, material and technical support to its programmatic interventions.
