Child Protection
Every adult bears the responsibility of protecting children from harm. UNICEF Pacific helps create a protective environment for children, where children are safe and protected from violence, abuse and exploitation in their homes, schools and their communities. The Child Protection programme carries out a range of activities and services that prevent and create systems to respond to violence, exploitation and abuse of children and ensure justice for all children. The Child Protection programme works closely in partnership with government stakeholders as well as other bilateral and multilateral agencies to fully integrate children’s protection in the national development agenda of Pacific Island Countries.
