Convergence of programmes is addressing all the rights of children, at the same time in a select number of the most vulnerable provinces within countries. Through support to local government, convergence results in comprehensive delivery of quality services and local and community based outcomes for children. Convergence also supports strong local partnerships for children between government agencies, community-based organizations, donors, non-government organizations and other UN agencies. At national level, UNICEF Pacific advocates for all children’s rights to be addressed in plans, policies, budgets and laws.
