Projects under the Communication and Resource Mobilization Programme

Project 1:  Programme Communication
Overall the project intends to focus on behaviour change communication and aims to raise awareness on national child priorities, the articles and principles of the conventions on the rights of the child (CRC) and promotion of positive attitudes and practices in families, schools and communities. In addition, it has worked towards capacity building for information campaigns on protein-energy malnutrition in children under 5, and HIV/AIDS

Project 2: Media and Information
The project aims to improve the capacity of media to incorporate children and women’s rights in their products and articulate effective arguments in favour of women and children.

The programme supports CEDAW and ethical reporting on children; policy and strategy development for CRC & CEDAW monitoring, and sub-regional coordination and corporate social responsibility for children.
