Post Title: Social Policy Specialist
Purpose of the post:
Under the supervision of the Chief, Economic Analysis & Social Policy (P-4), the incumbent is responsible for supporting the section’s policy analysis and advocacy work, with particular responsibility for social budgeting and economic analysis. Key responsibilities includes design and manage research, survey, data analysis, and prepare policy briefs and reports in strengthening evidence based advocacy on public sector finance and social budgeting provisions that they reflect the best interest of children.
Your profile for the post:
Advanced university degree in, Economics, Social Sciences, Public Finance or other relevant disciplines.
Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible professional work experience in social policy related research, advocacy and programme management, including field work experience.

The candidate must have excellent written and spoken English/Nepali skills
Survey, research and data analysis skills (proficiency in standard statistical software packages (e.g. STATA, SPSS) to analyze household survey data is required.
Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and establish harmonious and effective working relationships, both within and outside the organization.
