Post Title: Programme Assistant (Emergency)
Purpose of the post:
Under general supervision of the Emergency Specialist, performs a variety of information gathering, monitoring, technical and administrative services of moderate scope and difficulty, in support of programme activities.
Your profile for the post:
Completion of secondary education with additional training in Emergency related technical field (university level) is desirable.
Six years of progressively responsible in administrative, some of which should be in emergency programme management and operations including the inventory and distribution of programme-related supplies.
Required Competencies: Analyzing, Planning & organizing, Following instructions and procedures, Applying technical expertise, Relating and Attention to detail
The candidate must be computer literate with professional ability to work with database and must have excellent written and spoken English/Nepali skills, and capacity to translate simple correspondence.
Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and establish harmonious and effective working relationships, both within and outside the organization.
