Human Development Index

The HDI is a summary measure of three dimensions of human development: living a long and healthy life (measured by life expectancy), being educated (measured by adult literacy and educational enrolment) and having a decent standard of living (measured by the purchasing power of per capita income).

Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) 

The Multidimensional Poverty Index focuses on the number of people contending with numerous deprivations that are typical of poor households in selected countries. Namibia’s MPI suggests that 39.6% of the population are experiencing these deprivations.
