FACIM is taking place in Marracuene from August 29 to September 4 - visit the UNICEF exhibit
MAPUTO, Mozambique, 26 August 2011 - The Maputo International Fair, more commonly known as FACIM, is an international trade fair promoting trade and investment in Mozambique. It is considered the most important international event of its kind in Mozambique, and even in Southern Africa. This year’s FACIM features exhibits by more than 200 Mozambican firms and organizations as well as exhibitors from more than 20 other countries. This year’s FACIM will be held in a newly developed space in Ricatla in Marracuene, approximately 30 km north of Maputo (just follow the N1 towards Gaza, the fair ground is on your right before reaching Marracuene itself), and is taking place from August 29 through September 4. The fair will be opened by the President of the Republic at an invitation only event on Monday morning, and the gates will open to the public at 11:00 the same morning. A detailed program and an overview of workshops are attached below. Like last year, UNICEF Mozambique is represented with a stand, which is located in the exhibition tent called Chai, the last exhibition tent on the left from the main entrance.
