  • Position: Driver
    Duty Station: MOZAMBIQUE, Zambezia
    Purpose of the Assignment: Under the direct supervision of the UNICEF Representative in the field (Zambezia), The incumbent undertakes the following Tasks: Drives office vehicles for the transport of authorized personnel and delivery and collection of mail, documents and other items; Meets official personnel at the airport and facilitates immigration and customs formalities, as required; Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle, checks oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, etc., performs minor repairs and arranges for other repairs. Ensures that the vehicle is kept clean; Logs official trips, daily mileage, gas consumption, oil changes, greasing, etc; Ensures that the steps required by rules and regulations are taken, in case of involvement in an accident; Performs other duties, as required.

  • Position: HACT Field Consultants (National)
    Duty Station: MOZAMBIQUE, Tete and Zambezia
    Purpose of the Assignment: The purpose of the two HACT Field Consultants in Tete and Zambezia is to support the implementation of HACT within UNICEF Mozambique; specifically, to follow up on audit, spot check and micro assessment findings and recommendations of UNICEF Implementing Partners, in Tete and Zambezia.

  • Position: HSS Advisor
    Duty Station: MOZAMBIQUE, Maputo
    Purpose of the Assignment: The Ministry of Health has recently been approved for a 5 years grant from GAVI, entailing an investment of 25 ML USD, to tackle the systemic weaknesses that determine bottlenecks in the provision of EPI services countrywide. The HSS advisor will provide technical support to the National EPI Department in planning, coordinating, monitoring, documenting and reporting of the HSS project activities aimed at strengthening the Immunization Systems and the wider Health System. He/she will work in coordination with the relevant MoH departments (EPI, DPC, DAF, HR, DePROS, CMAM, CdA) and under the strategic guidance of the Interagency Coordinating Committee (ICC) and responding to the director of the EPI. .
