In 2014 two "OneMinutesJr" workshops were held in Balti and Orhei. The workshops’ aim was to give voice to the most vulnerable adolescents – those deprived of family environment, living on the streets, in residential institutions, with certain disabilities, in conflict with the law, affected by HIV/AIDS, commercial sex or drugs. During the workshops they learned how to talk about their problems and aspirations through powerful one-minute films. The films will be used to advocate for the rights of the country’s most vulnerable children and adolescents and to ensure that their concerns are heard by society at large. The workshops were organized by the Youth Media Center with UNICEF’s support.
In Balti the "OneMinutesJr" workshop brought together nine boys and four girls 14-19 years of age from the north of Moldova. The results of their work are 13 one-minute videos, which were presented to the decision makers in a public event organized by the Youth Friendly Health Center in Balti. The videos can be viewed below.
